I’m Alex Nelson and the founder of Snowy Owl Creative, specializing in hand-drawn wood educational and seasonal garlands/crafts! I'm a stay-at-home mom to two little girls after teaching 3rd grade and middle school reading for 10 years in public schools.

I love drawing and painting with my daughters and wanted to create something that reinforces the PBL units that they are learning in our homeschool while also incorporating painting. I draw all the designs by hand and use a laser to cut out all the learning crafts. I am honored to have my learning crafts utilized in children’s learning and play!
